Welcome to my bakery!

Our Story

Messy the Baker began as a passion project when the COVID quarantine started in March 2020. With extra time on my hands, I decided to try baking from scratch (I had only done boxed mixes up until then). With the pandemic just starting and knowing that grocery items were limited, I wanted to see what was available. To my surprise, the only bag of flour available was 50 pounds and a 2 pound package of yeast!! After talking about it to my husband, I decided to buy it and start baking!


In the mist of all the chaos that was happening around us, baking provided me a sense of calmness and joy from everyone that was enjoying my baked goods. After 2 years of trying different recipes and creating my own with many successes and failures, I am confident and proud of all the baked goods I make. I am constantly experimenting with new flavors, and the feedback I have received over the years has been tremendous.  Eventually, I decided to turn my passion project into a business, and that’s how Messy the Baker started!
